Oncology

Oncology is a firmly established competency for Symbiotix, and as time has progressed, we have become a more significant force within that marketplace. Through collaboration with international and national thought leaders, we have set ourselves apart and made oncology one of our flagship therapeutic areas. We have established relationships with the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), the Multinational Association for Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC), the American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO) and the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO).

Further, our foundation rests on significant experience within oncology marketing and education. Our principals have been involved in oncology from various perspectives for more than 20 years. Additionally, Symbiotix has built a clinical development team, including an internal medicine physician and a PhD in pharmacology, with experience in chemotherapeutics as well as palliative care.

Specific therapeutic areas that we have been involved in include:

• Cancer-related Hematological Disorders
• Chemotherapy/Radiation-induced Nausea & Vomiting
• Metastatic Bone Pain
• Tumor Hypoxia

As we move forward, Symbiotix is making strides to develop industry relationships within antitumor research, marketing, and education. Natural extensions of our other core competencies would include liver and digestive tract cancers and carcinoma related to AIDS. However, our oncology résumé would certainly support other primary cancer sites.
